OBITUARIES

 

Samuel M. Domenico, 87, of Hammonton, died December 23, 2007, at home.
Sam was a resident of Hammonton. He was a self-employed painter. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Pallotti Council #3471, Pallotti Assembly, Artisans Assembly, and former member of the Hammonton Lions Club.
Surviving him are: wife, Mary (nee Pino); daughters, Joann Langdon and her husband Harry of Egg Harbor, Patricia Langdon and her husband Walter, Sandra Brudon, Deborah Graf and her husband Robert, all of Hammonton; brother, Frank Domenico; sisters, Anna Pavesi, Jennie Fracetta all of Hammonton; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on December 28 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Ernest J. Pinto, 90, of Elmtowne, died December 21, 2007, at home.
Born in Hammonton, he was a long time resident. Mr. Pinto also lived in Hallandale Beach, Fla. for many years. Mr. Pinto was a building contractor and he owned Pinto Construction in Hallandale Beach. He was formerly the mayor and city commissioner of Hallandale Beach and he served as chairman and member of the Port Everglade Authority. He was a member of St. Matthew’s R.C. Church in Hallandale Beach, and his company built St. Charles Borromeo R.C. church there. Mr. Pinto was a United States Army veteran of World War II.
Predeceased by: wife, Ida “Tootsie” Pinto; parents, Louis and Rose Pinto; brothers, Joseph Pinto, William Pinto; sisters, Theresa DelVecchio, Mary Penza, Anna Mascino, Florence Mascio. Surviving him are: daughter, Vernita Pinto of Atlanta, Ga.; loving companion, Genevieve Campione of Elmtowne; many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on December 28 at St. Martin de Porres R.C. Church followed by burial at Greenmount Cemetery.
