Town to be sprayed for gypsy moths

HAMMONTON—The town of Hammonton will be sprayed for gypsy moths in May, according to Bureau of Plant, Pest and Disease Control with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture Bureau Chief Joseph Zoltowski and town officials. The town was informed of the decision on March 20.
 

Some property owners buck parking project

HAMMONTON—While the town of Hammonton is seeking for downtown property owners to accept its offer to improve land necessary to create parking lots in known trouble spots, some property owners are leery and guarded about what has been presented.
During the last two years, mayor and town council have been working on partnering with downtown property owners in a proposed parking lot project that would add both long-term and short-term parking spaces.

HAMMONTON—At its meeting on March 18, the Hammonton Parks and Recreation Commission heard a status report from Dave Cella of Adams Rehmann and Heggan (ARH) on the Hammonton Lake Parking and the Boyer Avenue Phase III projects.
