Postpone any decision on the Shade Tree Commission

Everyone is strongly in favor of keeping property taxes as low as possible, and the current mayor and council have done a good job of responding to that wish from the citizens of Hammonton. Sometimes, though, in their zeal to address a problem and put it behind them, they move too quickly. A good example is council’s decision to abolish the Hammonton Shade Tree Commission, transferring its duties to the Hammonton Environmental Commission.
