Spring is here! The weather is warming up. Buds are blooming, and grass cutting weather is around the corner.
We continue to be busy here at the Atlantic County Library/West in Hammonton as we host events and programs for the entire family.
Services and programs this month:
Atlantic County Clerk’s Satellite Office: Wednesday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. As a public service, the Atlantic County Clerk continues to operate the satellite office at Atlantic County Library/West in Hammonton. The office provides information and services for those wishing to obtain ID cards, passports, veteran licenses, trade names, notary oaths, or real estate information. The telephone number for the Clerk’s desk is 704-0169.
Toddler Storytime: Tuesdays through May 20 at 10 a.m. Features stories, crafts, snacks and games. Suggested for ages 3 and younger. Registration required.
Preschool Storytime: Thursdays through May 29 at 12:30 p.m. Stories, crafts, snacks and games. Suggested for ages 3.5 to 5. Registration required.
Young Adult Group: Wednesdays, May 7 and 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Discuss anime, manga, etc., in a relaxed atmosphere. Hang out and chat, read, watch anime movies, and play video games. Enjoy snacks and refreshments. Events TBA. For teens and young adults. Registration required.
Creative Crafts: Thursdays, May 15 and 29 at 6:30 p.m. Create arts and crafts using various materials. All materials are provided. On May 15 we will craft stick flags, and springtime magnet making is on May 29. For ages 8 and up, younger with adult. Registration required.
Memorial Day Craft: Saturday, May 17 at 2 p.m. Kids make a patriotic t-shirt. Suggested for ages 5 to 7, younger if assisted by an adult. Pre-registration required.
Internet Training: By appointment. Schedule an appointment for an individual tutoring session. Emphasis on library home page.
