Tropical Salon offers wide variety of services

Tropical Salon, 900 12th Street in Raspberry Run in Hammonton, is a full- service nail and tanning salon offering professional nail care for ladies and gentlemen using only the highest quality O.P.I. products.
The spectrum of services range from waxing and eyelash extensions to spa pedicure and manicures and the application of gel nails.
Owner and operator Mia Vo opened the family business in December of 2007 with 15 years of experience in the industry.
Having worked in the cities of Philadelphia, Atlantic City and Delaware Vo was attracted to Hammonton due to its close-knit community and support of family-owned businesses.
“I heard about Hammonton from a friend and I have found the people to be nice and friendly. It is a very nice town,” she said.
Tropical Salon specializes in customer service, a clean and inviting atmosphere and attention to detail in an effort to attract repeat customers, she said.
Repeat customer Leanne Kurtz of Buena likes coming to Tropical Salon because it is clean and they are efficient with their time.
“The people are always very nice,” she said.
Special services include the application of gel and acrylic nails, along with the spa pedicure and manicures, according to Vo.
Hammonton resident Kimberly Rowe enjoys the relaxation and pampering aspect of the spa pedicures that include a state-of-the-art massage chair, scented oils in a Jacuzzi tub, warm towels, lotion and a leg massage.
“It is wonderful,” Rowe said.
Vo hopes to continually grow and establish a good customer base.
Rowe was recommended by a friend to visit Tropical Salon and states she would pass along the recommendation.
Tropical Salon uses only sterilized instruments.
Open seven days a week, hours of operation are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
