Town commemorates Memorial Day

HAMMONTON—To commemorate Memorial Day the Tri-Vets of Hammonton held its annual parade down Bellevue Avenue and ceremony in Veterans Memorial Park on May 26 with its “American Pride” theme and solemn observance of those who made a costly sacrifice for the price of freedom.

HAMMONTON—This summer will see the latest local infrastructure improvement project, with new streets, sidewalks, streetscape improvements, lighting, water lines and sewer lines on Second Street and Vine Street. Parking improvements on Vine Street are also included in the project. The project is expected to start this week.
