Wednesday, July 2

The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) - Chapter 66 will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the DAV Hall, located at 446 S. Egg Harbor Rd.
Girl Scout Troop #6045 will meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church, located at 326 E. Bellevue Ave.

Other Events
An Alzheimer’s support group for those caring for family with Alzheimer’s or Dementia is being held the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church at 326 E. Bellevue Avenue.
The group provides practical caregiving information, gives mutual support and helps members learn about community resources. For more information call Sue Reitmeyer at 704-8166.
The Hammonton High School Class of 1963 will hold its 45th class reunion on November 29, 2008. The event will take place at Tomasello Winery on the White Horse Pike in Hammonton at 7 p.m. For more information call Rose Marie (Pitale) Rodio at 561-5389 or Lorraine (Maurone) Owsiak at (856) 596-0177.
The Friends of the Eagle Theatre are bringing the Ocean City POPS to the Hammonton High School Performing Arts Center on September 20, 2008 at 7 p.m.
Ticket prices are $20 per ticket and the seating is general admission. Tickets are on sale now at Casciano Coffee Bar & Sweetery, Simply Stationery, Dance Magic and Serenity for the Day. Tickets are also available online at www.tix.com or by calling 561-1199. Tickets will be available at the door.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit organization, Friends of the Eagle Theatre, and their efforts to restore the historic Eagle Theatre.
The Upper Room is a nondenominational Church that features a coffee house Ministry.
If you are looking for a safe place where you can be comfortable and enjoy Christian music, Christian books, great conversation and a Bible Study, look no furthur. Come in for the complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks, stay for the music and conversation, and go out with a personal transformation.
Coffee house Ministry is held Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be a Wednesday night Bible Study from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday services are at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
It is located at 334 Washington Street Suite 20B.
The Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services outreach mobile van is coming to Hammonton to provide residents with information about county services and programs.
The van is scheduled to come to Hammonton on Friday, July 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The van will be at the Wal-Mart, located at 55 S. White Horse Pike, Hammonton.
The van includes a small work station with lap top computer, portable table and chairs, informational brochures and publications. It periodically makes stops at shopping malls, grocery stores, libraries, hospitals, housing complexes and municipal buildings to help raise public awareness and provide easy access to county services.
