Anna Mascola



Anna Mascola, (nee Magazu), 92, of Hammonton passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022.


Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong Hammonton resident. Anna was a long-time cafeteria worker for Hammonton Schools. She volunteered at St. Martin de Porres and St. Joseph’s Churches counting the Sunday Collections.


Anna is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Salvatore Mascola.


She is survived by her four children, Salvatore Mascola (Denise) of Burke, Va., Brenda McCourt of Wilmington, Del., Karen Patterson (Bob) of Winslow and Ronald Mascola (Joan) of Hammonton; her sister, Margaret DeAngelo (Frank) of Williamstown; her brother, Donny Magazu of Taunton, Mass.; 11 grandchildren, Stacey, April, Salvatore III, Sara, Vincent, Paolo, Giancarlo, Jenna, Jessica, James and Emily; three great-grandchildren, A.J., Anna and Olive.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, May 20, 2022, 10 a.m. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph’s 226 French St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. A viewing will be held, Thursday, May 19, 2022 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation PO Box 1066, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
