Barbara Ann (nee Mosley) Munson, 75, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away Monday evening November 15, 2021 in Wilmington Christiana Seasons Hospice Care with her sister Janine Mosley and niece Michelle Hunter by her side.
Born in Dover, Del. on February 21, 1946, she was the daughter of the late James G. Sr. and Doris N. Mosley, and the wife of the late Samuel R. Munson, who passed away in 2012.
Barbara grew up in the Dover area and attended public schools. She and her late husband had been residents of Hammonton for many years. Barbara was employed in banking and insurance for more than 20 years working for the Glen Insurance Group, as a Claims Specialist. She loved collecting ceramic and porcelain dolls, painting and doing arts and crafts. She and her late husband also enjoyed traveling and seeing new and exciting places. Proud of her Native American culture, she also was a collector of dream catchers and had a room full of them.
Surviving are her sister, Janine Mosley of Hartly, Del.; her brother and sister-in-law, Elmer C. Jr. and Elizabeth Munson of Bridgeton; several nieces and nephews, several great, and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Besides her parents and husband Sam, she was predeceased by a brother James G. Mosley Jr. and her sister Christine E. Jones.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1 p.m. from the Sray-Webster Funeral Home, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation with family will be held from 11:30 a.m. till 1 p.m. Interment will be in the family plot in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp.
