Bruce Santora

Bruce Santora, 56, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday June 24, 2022 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center after a five-year battle with ALS.

Bruce was born and raised in Hammonton, N.J., graduated from Hammonton High School in 1983 and received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 1987.

He recently retired from Bloomberg LP in New York City where he worked for over 17 years as a Feeds Analyst.

Bruce was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan attending numerous games in Pittsburg. He even cheered them on to victory at Super Bowl XLIII in 2009. He loved Star Wars, Marvel Comics and anime. Bruce enjoyed traveling and visiting Japan, London, Italy, Alaska and Great Britain. He especially loved vacations in Disney with his family. His hobbies included playing golf, going to the movies, doing puzzles and playing board and card games.

He is predeceased by his father, Anthony B. Santora; his aunt, Roseana Donio; and uncles, Frank Scola and Vic Santora.

He is survived by his mother, Carmela (nee Scola); his brothers, Frank Santora (Susan) and Mark Santora; his wife, Tracy; his nephews, Mark and Anthony; his aunts, Joann Scola and Carmelanne Bartuccio (Joseph); his uncles, Angelo (Bebe) Scola and Joseph Donio; and numerous cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street Hammonton, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Joseph Church Third Street, Hammonton, N.J. Entombment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, N.J.
