Concetta “Jennie” Mazzagatti

Concetta “Jennie” Mazzagatti, nee Sacco, 98, of Hammonton passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Born in Hammonton, Jennie was a lifelong resident. She along with her late husband Carmen owned and operated Mazzagatti Cold Cuts, Deli and Liquor Store for 20 years retiring in 1980. A homemaker in retirement, Jennie loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was a member of the St. Joseph Church in Hammonton and was especially devoted to St Lucy where she walked by her statue in the Our Lady of Mt Carmel procession for 50 years.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Carmen A. Sr.; her son, Dr. Nicholas J; brothers, Paul, Domenic, Anthony and Frank; sisters, Anna and Mary; and son-in-law, Frank J. Amedio Jr.
Surviving are her daughter, Lucille Amedio; her son, Carmen A. Jr. (Michelle); 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and daughters-in-law, Alice Mazzagatti, Dr. Claire Martell and Dr. Carlyn Phucas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish, St Joseph Church 3rd and French St Hammonton. Interment will be at Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
