Deceptively large home on Woodlawn

A surprisingly large house has hit the market in Hammonton.
This home, located at 784 Woodlawn Ave., has a modest exterior which belies the true depth and size that awaits potential homebuyers. With one step through the front door, however, one starts to get a glimpse of what the house has to offer.
The foyer that greets visitors is of an ample size, with a coat closet to the right—next to a three-pane bay window that overlooks the side of the property—and an open, recessed closet to the left. Hardwood floors accent this room, and continue through the arched doorway into the kitchen.
Here, white appliances and cabinets are contrasted by black countertops, all of which are accented by backsplashes in varying shades of grey.
Directly in front of the kitchen is the living room, which features a vinyl plank floor and an impressive amount of natural light from both the windows and a set of sliding doors which lead to a concrete patio.
This room also allows access to the two-car garage at the back of the house, which has a wood-burning stove to heat it for any activity.
The master bedroom is also accessible from the living room. Here, one can find his-and-her closets, as well as access to the master bathroom—which has a hookup for a washer and dryer.
The master bathroom also has its own sliding-door exit to a separate, fenced-in portion of the side yard, complete with a deck and gorgeous sod.
A quick trek back through the living room and kitchen leads to the rest of the house.
The first of three bedrooms is located to the left of a small hallway. This room, overlooking the front yard, is of respectable size, with a large front window and plenty of closet space—as well as a sliding door set on a metal track for ease of access.
The second bedchamber is to the right of the previous one, and features two closets on opposite walls.
The third room is perfectly sized to serve as a nursery, or as a private office.
The aforementioned hallway is also where the second bathroom may be found, with a beautiful rounded sink and plenty of lighting.
The house also has a large basement, which features dry core vinyl plank flooring throughout. Here, the ceiling, though unfinished, is painted, and is high enough should homebuyers choose to install a drop ceiling. There is also a separate room partitioned off that is currently being utilized as an office.
Additionally, the basement is also home to an additional washing machine and gas-powered dryer, which are included with the house.
Several energy-efficient upgrades have been added to the house as well, including motion sensors for many of the lights in the home. It also features a newer roof, hot water heater, air conditioner and heater.
This home is conveniently located near several shopping plazas, restaurants and the Hammonton Swim Club. It is perfectly situated to allow many of the town’s amenities to be within walking distance.
This 1,636 square-foot home is perfect for families of any size, and is a bargain at $319,900.
The house is currently under contract, and is listed with Matthew Peeke of Crowley & Carr Real Estate. For more information, call (609) 377-6823.
