Diane P. Dodaro



Diane P. Dodaro (nee Labate), 86, of Hammonton passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at home.


Born in Williamstown she was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. She was a longtime member of St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church and then St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish in Hammonton.


Mrs. Dodaro is predeceased by her husband, James V. Dodaro; her parents, Joseph and Rose Labate; and her three sisters, Gloria Bruno, Marie Virgilio and Josephine Giamporcaro.


She is survived by her son, James T. Dodaro (Cathy Sorace) of Furlong, Pa.; her daughter, Patricia Kenney (Ellie Gibson) of Sicklerville; her niece, Bernadette Valente (late husband, Jack) of Hammonton; her grandchildren, Kristin Kenney (Harris Daniels), Matthew Kenney (Ann), Wayne Kenney, Rachel Dodaro (Sam Brown) and Reyna Dodaro; two great-grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews.


A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph’s, 226 French Street in Hammonton, where a visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dementia Society of America at www.dementiasociety.org.
