Eleanor M. Vlasics



Eleanor M. Vlasics, 93, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2021, surrounded by her family.


Born in Blue Anchor, N.J. she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Maria (Castaldi) Fiorentino. For many years she worked for White Hall Pharmaceutical Laboratories as a machine finisher. In her leisure time she would enjoy cooking for her family, watching cooking shows on television, traveling and taking trips to the casinos. She would also enjoy the times she would spend chatting with her family and friends.


In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sisters, Frances Reber, Angie Silipino, Mary Mauriello and Helen DeMayo; brother, John Fiorentino; and nephews, Sonny Silipino and Danny DeMayo.


She is survived by her husband of 43 years, George Vlasics; her sister in-law, Helen, along with many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends attended her Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Christ the Redeemer Sacred Heart Church 119 North Route 73 Cedar Brook, N.J.


Interment followed at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
