HAMMONTON—Election Day is November 8. There are six candidates running for three open seats on the Hammonton Town Council; three incumbents on the Hammonton First slate and three candidates on the Republican slate.


The Hammonton First candidates are: Councilman Steven Furgione, Councilman William Olivo and Councilman Sam Rodio.


The Republican candidates are Adam Re, Renee Rodio and Joshua Trepiccione.


There are six candidates running for three open seats on the Hammonton Board of Education this year. The candidates include: incumbent Barbara Berenato, Rita Black, incumbent Linda Byrnes, incumbent John Lyons, Shawn McCloud and Mary Anne Templeton.


For early voting and drop-off of mail-in ballots.


• Early voting will be open at Hammonton Family Success Center, 310 Bellevue Ave., Hammonton. The early voting is open from October 29, 2022 through November 6, 2022 with the following hours: Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.


• There is a drop-box for mail-in ballots at Hammonton Town Hall, 100 Central Ave.


The polling places and times for the election on November 8 are as follows:


• D-1 Disabled American Veterans, 446 S Egg Harbor Rd.


• D-2 American Legion Hall, 101 French St.


• D-3 Hammonton Fire Dept. No. 2, 51 N White Horse Pike


• D-4 Meadows Condo Clubhouse, 1 Jamestown Blvd.


• D-5 Hammonton Canoe Club, 100 Sports Dr.


• D-6 Mount Carmel Society, 1 Mt Carmel Lane


• D-7 Hammonton Fire Dept. No. 1, 108 Front St.
