Perhaps held a fashion show on September 28 at the Vine Street Parking Lot. The event was hosted by Annata Wine Bar and Casciano Coffee Bar & Sweetery.

Anna Yanoschak and her mother Lisa Yanoschak opened their first Perhaps store in Smithville “a little more than two years ago,” and earlier this year they opened a second location at 210 Bellevue Ave. in Hammonton.

“My mother opened our first store in Smithville a little more than two years ago. We started with eight items in our store and almost three years later we have two beautiful locations. My mom named the store after her favorite Bible verse Esther 4:14: ‘Perhaps this is the moment for which you were created.’ It’s very inspiring. It’s considering how far we have come. We are so excited to be able to have some fun with our customers because if it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t be here,” Anna Yanoschak said.

Each ticket included a glass of wine and a charcuterie board.

“I think mixing wine and fashion together you can’t go wrong,” Yanoschak said.

Attendees were also given note cards and pens to take notes of outfit numbers, so they could purchase after the show. Models wore items from Perhaps’ fall line.

“Fall is always a tough season because it’s a transition as well. It’s a short season, fall, so you have to pick wisely. It has to be layering. Pieces that you can incorporate with your winter wardrobe as well, so we try to keep that in mind. And even though it’s an 80 degree humid September day, it’s only a matter of time before it gets cool,” Yanoschak said.

Perhaps style appeals to people of all ages.

“Perhaps style with COVID it became more relaxed over the last few months, but it’s definitely a coastal vibe. We have neutral colors. We just try to keep it very nothing too flashy but something unique that you won’t find in your typical store, which seems to be our biggest feedback: that they have to get it because they can’t find it somewhere else,” Yanoschak said.

With the success of two stores, Perhaps is looking to open a third store.

“Our third Perhaps store will most likely be at a beach town. Our clothes are very versatile, but it’s more geared towards a coastal vibe, so we’re going to be looking for an oceanfront property,” Yanoschak said.
