Florence C. Maccarella

Florence C. Maccarella (nee Caromano), 82, of Waterford, N.J. passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

Florence was born and raised in Atco and resided her entire life in Waterford, N.J. Florence worked at the Edgewood Junior High School as a secretary for over 25 years.

Florence is predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Rosemarie Caromano. She is also predeceased by Pasquale Caromano, Joseph Caromano, Anthony Caromano and Robert Caromano.

She is the beloved wife of the late Carmen; loving mother of Gregory (Donna) Maccarella and Joseph (Lisa) Maccarella; proud grandmother of Gregory, Domenic, Katie and Nicholas; great-grandmother of Sophia Grace; and dear sister of Marie Casario. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A viewing was held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial began at noon at Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, N.J. Interment followed the Mass at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 119 Rt. 73 Cedar Brook, N.J.
