Frank A. Macrie, 64, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his home.
Frank was affectionately known to his friends as “The Old Man” and “Clutch.” He was a good hearted soul who was always willing to lend a hand to those in need, no matter the circumstance or situation. He was most certainly your “go to” guy. Frank was born in Philadelphia and was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1975. He worked in the construction industry for many years. During that time, he was employed by Delco Construction Company, Statewide Highway Safety, Arawak Paving and South Jersey Well Drilling. Frank had a passion for guitars, audio equipment, vintage automobiles, construction equipment, historic photographs, family history, nostalgia, motorcycles and dirt bikes. He never passed up the chance to engage in a good conversation, regardless of the subject. Frank will be sadly missed by his brother, his relatives and his many friends.
Frank is predeceased by his parents, Anthony C. Macrie and Angelina “Angie” (nee Valentino).
He is survived by his brother, Anthony “Tony” Macrie of Hammonton, N.J.
