Frank L. Domenico Sr.



Frank L. Domenico Sr., 93, of Hammonton passed away peacefully Saturday, August 14, 2021 with his daughter by his side.


He was born and raised in Hammonton and went on to serve in the U.S Army during World War II. After his discharge, he married the love of his life Dorothy Bottino in 1949. He retired from the Atlantic County Dept. of Public Works as a Traffic Unit Supervisor. He was a member of the Hammonton Canoe Club.


Frank is predeceased by his loving wife, Dorothy (nee Bottino); his son, Frank L. Domenico Jr.; his parents, Nunzio and Teresa; and siblings, Joseph, Sam, Nick, Louis, Tony, Nein, John, Marie, Angie, Jennie and Anna.


He is survived by his daughter, Carmella Bencivenga and her husband Ben of Galloway and daughter-in-law, Judi Domenico of Hammonton. Frank is the loving grandfather of Bianca Hermann (Mark), April Tabachri (Sharbel), Krista Bencivenga (Jameson Romano), Tara and Luke Bencivenga, and great-grandfather of Cole, Reese, Kent, Fawn and Rylan.


Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday, August 18 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Joseph Church Third & French St. Hammonton, N.J. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Road Hammonton, NJ 08037. Donations may be made in Frank’s memory to St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish 226 French Street Hammonton, NJ 08037.
