Gilda R. Passarella

Gilda R. Passarella, 82, of Waterford Works, N.J. passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Gilda was a lifelong Waterford Works (Winslow Twp.) resident. She was a member of the Winslow Twp. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary (Station 8) and the Winslow Twp. Historical Society. Gilda experienced life head-on and took no prisoners! She enjoyed bowling and was on a league for many years. She formerly worked at the Atco Raceway and its corporate office in Collingswood and was loved by many racers and their families. Before retiring, Gilda worked at the Atlantic City casinos and met many celebrities, all who adored her easy and fun nature. She was a world traveler, setting sail to Alaska and Italy to name a few destinations. She was known to fly to the Bahamas with her daughter and grandson just for lunch!

She is remembered fondly for her cookies and her baking skills as well as her “famous” birthday brunch.

She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary (De Nardo) Passarella; her sister, Marion Ludovich; and brother-in-law, Fred Ludovich.

Gilda is survived by her daughter, Lesa Passarella (Frank Sedor). She is the loving grandmother of Matthew Burden (Christine), Addison Sedor and great-grandmother of Gia Rose.

Services and burial will be held privately by the family.
