Giralo receives Lincoln Award

SOMERS POINT, N.J.—The Atlantic County Federation of Republican Women (ACFRW) invited Atlantic County Clerk Joseph Giralo to “Swing in the Spring.” Giralo was an honored guest for the evening as the ACFRW presented him with the Lincoln Award, recognizing an individual who goes above and beyond service to the citizens.

The event was held at the Greater Bay Country Club on April 11. The event titled “Swing in the Spring” combined dinner, music by Zach Taglioli and an awards presentation.

The annual Lincoln Dinner included a presentation of the Heart of Gold Award to Committeewoman Vern Macon and the Lincoln Award to Giralo.

During his speech, Giralo thanked ACFRW and all of those who have supported him over nearly four decades of public service. As for the award itself, Giralo expressed appreciation.

“I am deeply honored that the Atlantic County Federation of Republican Women chose me for this very prestigious award,” Giralo said.

According to their website, the ACFRW’s mission is dedicated to encouraging fellow members and women across the Garden State to become more politically engaged as operatives in the Republican party. Giralo was surrounded by three encouraging women of his own that evening as his wife and two daughters attended the event with him.
