Harry J. Stafford



Harry J. Stafford, 81, of Hammonton, N.J., passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, N.J.


Harry was born in Arkansas City, Kan., lived in Silver Spring, Md. and has been a resident of Hammonton since 1972. Harry was a Veteran in the Army, a District Deputy and Past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Pallotti Council #3471 and member of the Hammonton Historical Society. Harry was a long time member, Eucharistic Minister and lector of St. Martin de Porres Church and former caretaker. He enjoyed antiques and woodworking.


Harry is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Esther (Reece) Stafford; brother, John Stafford; and sister, Cecilia Stafford.


He is survived by his wife, Ann and sons, John and Steven Stafford. He is the loving grandfather of Nicholas Stafford, Eric King, Sarah Stafford and Renee Jr. Deweber along with eight great-grandchildren.


Relatives and friends attended his viewing 9 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parrish St. Joseph Church Third and French St. Hammonton, N.J. Burial followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ 08037.
