JC Hair Studios provides style and smiles
Located in the Simply Salon Suites, JC Hair Studios provides customers with a great style and great service. Offering coloring, highlights, haircuts and treatments, JC Hair Studio prides itself on making the customer feel happy with their look. The owner of JC Hair Studio, Jessica Chandler, even had a custom quote put on her wall saying, “Be the reason someone smiles today.” Chandler likes to focus on being a positive force in her customer’s lives, which benefits the customer, but it also makes Chandler happy.
“This is why I love doing what I do, I get to meet new people and I also get to be a part of their lives. I’ve been through marriages, divorces, kids, I’ve watched their kids grow up, proms and graduations … I’m all part of that,” Chandler said.
With a positive and empathetic outlook, Chandler has had customers follow her for years, supporting her business. Formerly in Berlin, many of Chandler’s customers make the drive to Hammonton specifically for her services.
When she was younger, she dreamed of having her own salon attached to her home like in the show “Step by Step.”
“Ever since that show, I’ve wanted my own place,” Chandler said.
Chandler recalls always wanting to be in the salon industry and has made great strides to get her own place. She reflected on her experience so far in Hammonton, explaining that the community has shown their support.
Chandler feels that her suite is coming together giving a relaxing atmosphere. The suite offers a warm tone from the large front window, adding to the minimalist display set by the striking black cabinets and bright white walls. The atmosphere of the room creates a comfortable environment for Chandler’s clients, which is the ultimate goal for JC Hair Studios.
Chandler explained that she will go out of her way to work with her customers. Going above and beyond for her clients, Chandler also offers in home salon services for those who may be home bound or unable to make the trip to the salon. Chandler understands how schedules can get tedious and ever changing, which is why she does not charge cancellation fees.
Instead, she is flexible around her clients’ availability.

On the back of her business cards, customers can access her social media pages, online booking, as well as the products available. For customers that don’t want to use social media, she also takes appointments via phone or walk-ins. Chandler wants to be accessible to all ages and will always try to work out a time and date that works best for the client. Whether a new or a returning client, Chandler aims to deliver that perfect style.
