JoAnn B. Sorrentino

JoAnn B. Sorrentino, 72, of Hammonton passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021.


She lived in Hammonton all of her life and worked with her parents at their restaurants in Hammonton and Elm for many years. JoAnn was employed at the Winslow Township Police Department as a dispatcher and after retiring from there she went to work as an inspector for the N.J. Casino Control Commission. After retiring, she enjoyed taking road trips to the casinos to gamble. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.


JoAnn is predeceased by her parents, Augie and Rose Sorrentino; her sister, Rose; and brother, Paul.


She is survived by many relatives and good friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 29, 2021, 11 a.m. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph’s 226 French Street Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, 226 French St., Hammonton, NJ 08037.
