Joann Girard

Joann Girard, 61, of Hammonton died on Thursday, March 25, 2021 in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Division after a brief illness.

Born in Camden she was a lifelong Hammonton resident. Joann formerly worked at Walmart in Hammonton. She enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews sporting events and playing cards.

She is predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Theresa Girard; her brother, Butch Girard; and her niece, Pam Angello.

Surviving are her brothers, Louis Girard and Dennis Girard (Debbie) all of Hammonton; her sisters, Patty Angello (Domenic) of Absecon and Rosemary Snively (Bill O’Malley) all of Hammonton; her aunts, Dorothy Petruzzi and Dominque Marro Warwick; nine nieces and nephews; and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at noon at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., where a viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until noon. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Funny Farm Rescue and Sanctuary, 6908 Railroad Blvd., Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
