John J. Ludovich, 82, of Waterford, N.J. passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.
John was born in Camden, N.J. and has been a lifelong Waterford resident. He dedicated much of his life to service, serving as a Winslow Twp. Police Officer and Firefighter as well as a member of the United States Army. John was also a little league baseball coach and a member of the Knights of Columbus Padre Pio Council 14191.
He is predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Catherine Ludovich; his wife, Maryann R. (nee Marro); and brother, Fred Ludovich.
John is survived by his children, Donna Maccarella (Ron) of Bolivar, Mo., John A. Ludovich (Dawn) of Waterford, N.J. and Kimberly (Craig Mowers) of Tuckahoe, N.J.; and his brother, Nicholas Ludovich (Mary Anne). He is the loving grandfather of Ronald Maccarella, Kaitlyn Rice, John Ludovich Jr. and James Rice.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday, July 26, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Anthony Church-Christ the Redeemer Parish 450 Pennington Ave, Waterford Works, NJ 08089. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Cremation will be held privately.
