Josephine L. Domenico



Josephine L. Domenico (nee Santilli), 103, of Hammonton died on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side.


Josephine was born and raised in Hammonton. She assisted her husband Joseph in operation of Domenico’s Service Station for 37 years. Josephine was a member of the Children of Mary Society and also volunteered for six years at William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital. She was the proud mother of her son Ralph “Raddy” who was inducted into the St. Joseph H.S. Hall of Fame and her son William “Bill” who served as Pallotti Council Grand Knight for eight years. Josephine was fittingly honored by Congressman LoBiondo, President Trump and Pope Frances upon occasion for her 100th birthday. Her last days were spent patiently at home in prayer and reflection.


She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Domenico; her son, Ralph “Raddy” Domenico; brothers, Michael and John; and her sister, Millie Milioti.


Surviving are her son, William “Bill” Domenico; daughter-in-law, Tina Domenico; her granddaughter, Jodi Domenico Kollias (Adrian); and great-granddaughters, Adrianna and Isabella Kollias.


Family and friends attended her viewing on February 12, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, N.J. Burial followed in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish 226 French St. Hammonton, NJ 08037.
