Kelsey brings home top honors at SJAC swim meet

VOORHEES—Hammonton resident Peyton Kelsey won three out of the four events she swam in at the SJAC St. Patty’s Developmental Meet on March 20 at the South Jersey Aquatic Club in Voorhees.
Kelsey won her first race of the day, the 50-yard freestyle, in a personal-best time of 32.30. She followed her freestyle victory by winning both the 50-yard butterfly in 37.58 and the 50-yard breaststroke in a time of 43.90, both personal-best times. Kelsey’s breaststroke victory was her best of the day as she dropped 8.73 seconds off her previous best time.
Kelsey closed out the day by taking second place in the 100-yard IM in 1:26.26, her fourth personal-best time of the day.
Kelsey will next swim on April 17-18 at the SJAC Cobalt Classic Championship Meet for swimmers ages 9-12.
