To the Editor:
It was my privilege to submit a Letter to the Editor which appeared in the first issue of The Gazette on July 2, 1997.
I wrote “...with good planning, care, and hard work, this newspaper, like this town, is bound to flourish.” Well, nobody works harder than Gina, Gabe and their staff so The Gazette has flourished, in spectacular fashion.
I also predicted: “As long as ‘The Gazette’ is able to capture and reflect the spirit and aspirations of this great town, it is certain to be a source of news, information and enjoyment for many years to come.” Mission accomplished! Congratulations on your first 25 years. Thank you for all you do. I am confident the best is yet to come.
