Letters to the Editor: Polito for Hammonton School Board

To the Editor:

Hi, my name is Erica Polito and I am asking for your support as I seek a second term on the Hammonton School Board.

I am a lifelong Atlantic County resident and Stockton alumna with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I continued my education at Rowan University to earn my Special Education certification, and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership.

My husband, Nick and I have two children that proudly attend Hammonton Public Schools. Our son AJ is 17, a senior at Hammonton High School, active in several clubs and a proud member of the National Honor Society. Our daughter Gabriella is 12, attends the Hammonton Middle School, and enjoys many activities, including, dance, singing and theater.

My family and I have been active in the community since we moved to Hammonton more than 15 years ago.

As a school board member, Hammonton students are my top priority. I’m open, honest, and treat people with respect, and do my best to do the right thing everyday.

I’m not a puppet. I don’t tell you what you want to hear. I tell the truth. I do my research. I ask questions. I’m a teacher.

I’m a mother. I’m a Hammontonian. I’m a Hammonton School Board member and I appreciate your vote and support.
