Marcella Jane Reeser

Marcella Jane Reeser (nee Briggs), 100, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Philadelphia Protestant Home.

She was born in Montrose, Pa. and lived in Hammonton, N.J. for over 50 years. A graduate of Georgetown High School, (Georgetown, Del.) she married her sweetheart, Floyd H. Reeser in 1946. She was a skilled professional photo and oil paint retoucher and colored in photos. She was a Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts leader, taught Sunday School and volunteered to serve with numerous church activities.

Marcella is survived by her sons, Floyd L., David J., Paul W. and daughter, Jane C. Fadden. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends attended a memorial service on Saturday, August 28, 1 p.m., at John E. Stiles Funeral Home, 2450 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, Pa. Burial was private.
