Marie Mammucari (nee DeSantis), 94, of Atco, N.J. (formerly of Blue Anchor) passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
Marie Mammucari had so many beautiful qualities. As a faithful wife, Marie was devoted to her husband Rocco, whom she felt could be compared to no other. As a treasured mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, Marie gave unconditional love to her daughters, granddaughters and great-grandchildren. As a caring daughter, sister and aunt, Marie was both proud and loving. As a homemaker, Marie was a perfectionist. Truthfully, Marie Mammucari was the meaning of “Motherhood.” She will be eternally cherished.
Mrs. Mammucari is predeceased by her husband, Rocco; her granddaughter, Veronica Ann Palladino; and her sisters, Rita Betts Zanghi, Gloria Della Peruta and Dolores Liberto.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Domenica Palladino (Douglas) of Atco, N.J. and Sue Ann Mammucari-Agostinelli (Vincenzo) of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Also surviving is her sister, Barbara Lorraine Fedeli of Egg Harbor Twp., N.J.; her granddaughter, Alexandra Mauriello (Robert); and her great-grandchildren, Cole Mauriello and Eden Marie Mauriello.
Her viewing was held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment followed at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, N.J.
