June Marie Rodriguez (nee Greaves), 68, of Folsom, NJ, formerly of New York, NY, passed away Friday September 2, 2022. June was born in and raised in Manhattan, Inwood, N.Y
She was a NYC special education teacher for over 30 years. She achieved a double master’s from Hunter College in Special Education and Psychology. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Eileen (nee Coleman) Greaves. June is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ruben N. Rodriguez and her children, Jason Rodriguez (Wendy), Jennifer Rodriguez (Adam Hanlon) and William Rodriguez. She is the loving grandmother of Madison, Conrad, Winter, Violet, and Lilian. She loved so many things and was good at everything.
She enjoyed planting and tending to her garden. She loved nature and being with her husband, Ruben, going bike riding, to the beach, and traveling. Most of all, She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She touched the hearts of everyone she met. There is not a person who met her that didn’t love her. She will be missed immeasurably.
Relatives and friends attended her visitation on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third St., Hammonton, N.J. 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church, corner of French and Third Street, Hammonton, N.J. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in June’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
