Dorothy B. Ford (nee Berenato), 96, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away Wednesday May 10, 2023. Dorothy was born and raised in Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High in 1944. She along with her husband owned and operated the Central Café in Hammonton. She was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish and devoted to St. Padre Pio.
Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Lyall Ford; son, Joseph Ford; parents, Antonio and Angelina Berenato; siblings, Theresa Gudelunas (Phillip), Anna Mazza (Mickey), Rose Rodio, Jennie Berenato, Anthony Berenato (Ellen); and brother-in-law, Joseph Husta. She is survived by her children, Anthony Ford, Michael Ford (Catherine), Angela Ford (Eric Walton); sister, Rita Husta; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend her viewing Monday May 15th from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 248 S. First Road Hammonton, NJ.
