Donald A. Monteleone, 84, of Buena Vista Township passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 in Deborah Heart and Lung Center. Born in Malaga he lived in the Vineland area until moving to Hammonton in 1992 where he remained until moving to Buena Vista in 2020. Donald was a self-employed heavy equipment mechanic. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved going to the casinos and riding his "Harley."
Donald was predeceased by his longtime loving companion, Fran Gazzara. He is survived by three sons, Donald N. Monteleone, Daniel R. Monteleone (Gina) and Donald A. Monteleone; four step-daughters, Debbie Gazzara-Berenato (Denny), Rhonda Smith (Glenn), Charlotte Gazzara and Lori Kemmerer (Gary) and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A viewing was held Thursday, June 8, 2023 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m.
Entombment was held in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Attn: Making Strides of Ocean City, N.J., 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034.
