Maria M. Rodriguez

Maria M. Rodriguez, 75, of Hammonton passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at her residence with her loving family at her side. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico she lived in Hammonton for 50 years. Maria was a seamstress at Kessler Clothing Co. in Hammonton.

She also worked as a certified nursing assistant at Greenbriar Nursing Center. She was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. Maria was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Puerto Rican Civic Association in Hammonton. She was also a Cursillistas at St. Joseph's Church.

Maria is survived by her loving husband, Elvin Rodriguez; her four children, Kevin Montemurro (Andrea), Evelyn Rodriguez (Cris), Elvin Rodriguez, Jr., Ester Rodriguez (Angelo); her sisters, Milagros Rodriguez and Carmen Torres. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Cris, Adam, Andrew, Jules, Jaeda, Samantha, Syarra and Kevin.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, July 21, 2023, 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French Street, Hammonton, where a viewing was held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Burial followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
