Betty J. Maimone (nee Grams), 80, of Hammonton, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Born and raised in Egg Harbor City, she was a Hammonton resident for sixty-two years. Betty enjoyed cooking, baking, making pizzelles at Christmas time, traveling, gardening, holiday dinners and family gatherings. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her two grandsons. Before retiring Betty worked at Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton.
She was predeceased by her parents, August and Reba Grams; along with her two brothers, August Grams and Bruce Grams. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Joseph F. Maimone Sr; two sons and their wives, Joseph F. Maimone Jr. and Barbara, Michael Maimone and April; two grandsons, Joseph F. Maimone III, and Nicholas Maimone; brothers, Bobby Grams (Diane), Albert Grams (Dorothy), Jim Grams (Linda), Bill Grams and John Sullivan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing was held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services took place at 11 a.m. Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place. Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
