Obituary
Gladys Tomasella, 95, of Hammonton, N.J., passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Gladys was born and raised in Hammonton where she attended Hammonton schools. She worked on the DeMarco family farm and as a seamstress. She was devoted to her family and especially loved the Phillies and Eagles.
She is predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Mamie DeMarco; her husband, Mitchell Tomasella Sr; her son, Mitchell Tomasella Jr; her brothers, Rocco, Carmen, Anthony, Phillip, and John DeMarco; and her sisters, Carmella Merlino, Rose Merlino, and Rita Amedio. Gladys is survived by her children, Gail Horn (Gus) and Gary Tomasella (Terri); daughter in law, Mary Tomasella; grandchildren, Stephanie Redfield (Andrew), and Matthew Horn; and her sister, Stella Daniello; along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday September 2, 2023 from 9 a.m. -11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, N.J. Burial will be held privately.
