Obituary - Debra A. Samuelson

Debra A. Samuelson (née Berenato)

Debra A. Samuelson (née Berenato) passed away peacefully with her little sister and brother by her side on Thursday, March 14 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was 54.

Debbie was a 1987 graduate of Hammonton High School. She was retired from the Atlantic County Utilities Authority, after which she worked for All-Vinyl Fence and became a consultant for Thirty-One Gifts.

Debbie was a rabid fan of Disney (especially Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney World), the Las Vegas Raiders, unicorns and the movie The Outsiders. She loved crafting, swimming, spending time with friends and family (and her two cats, Sully and Figaro), and watching her son excel at sports.

Debbie is predeceased by: Joseph G. Samuelson; their daughter, Kelly Rose Samuelson; and her mother, Frances L. Berenato.

Debbie is survived by her son, Joseph A. Samuelson; her father, Anthony J. Berenato (Heidi); her sister, Anna E. Warburton (Michael); her brother, Joseph F. Berenato (Robyn); her cousin, Jaime L. Cirillo; two stepsisters, Melissa Brower and Nicole DeAnnuntis; and many nephews, nieces and friends—all of whom will miss her terribly.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton,  where a celebration of Debbie's life will be held at 8:00 PM.  Burial at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hammonton High School Blue Devils Pantry, 566 Old Forks Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
