Anna DiFilippo (nee Ingemi), 85, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 26, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Anna was a lifelong Hammonton resident. She was a bus aide for 15 years with the Hammonton School System. Anna also worked for Deer Park Cookies. She was a wonderful baker, devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She loved to cook Sunday dinners for the family. She loved watching her grandchildren’s dance recitals, plays and sporting events. Anna also loved traveling to Walt Disney World.
She is predeceased by husband, Aldo P. DiFilippo; her parents, Joseph and Anna (nee Siligato) Ingemi; her brothers, Matthew, Frank, Dominic, Joe, and John Ingemi; and sisters, Pauline Rodio, Rose Chappine and Jeanette Hughes. Anna is survived by her children, Rose Ann Arena (Joseph), Aldo P. DiFilippo, Jr. (Mary), Irene Sarnese (Arthur) and Peter DiFilippo (Mary); She is the loving grandmother of Andrew and Nicholas Arena, Arthur and Anastasia Sarnese, Catherine, Aldo, Gabrielle, and Sophia DiFilippo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services and burial were held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry 226 French St.
