Edith Triboletti (nee Drostle)

Edith Triboletti (nee Drostle), 94, of Hammonton, N.J., passed away peacefully on February 17, 2023. She was born on January 10, 1929 in London, England to Frederick and Winifred (nee Wilcox) Drostle, the fourth of five children. Edie met Leon, who would become her husband, in London, where he served as an Army Corporal. She came back with him to Hammonton in 1952, where they would spend the next 42 years, raising their three sons, and later their grandchildren. Edie quickly mastered the art of Italian cooking; her lasagna was a family favorite. She also incorporated her native cooking; treating the family to Yorkshire pudding and Sheppard’s pie. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and playing card games with her friends.

Anyone who stopped by her home was sure to be offered a perfect British cup of tea at her kitchen table, surrounded by beautiful and flourishing house plants. Her green thumb was also on display in her flower beds, in which she creatively combined vibrant colors and a variety of textures. In fact, her gardening was featured in the Hammonton News! But most of all, Edie was dedicated to her family and especially treasured time with her grandchildren.

Edie was predeceased by her husband, Leon; her son, Leon; and her siblings. She is survived by her sons, Fred (Mary) and Dave (Maria); her daughter-in-law, Lilletta Fasano; her grandchildren, Faith Raudabaugh (Brad), Mark (Jessica) Triboletti, and Andrea Triboletti; her step-grandchildren, Tony Fasano, Estelle, Allison, and Charlene Salva; and her great grandchildren Lily, Jacob, and James Raudabaugh, and Leo and Frances Triboletti.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 23, beginning at 10 a.m. at Marinella Funeral Home, Hammonton, N.J. A Celebration of Life service commenced at 11 a.m. and burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, 500 N. White Horse Pike, Hammonton, N.J.
