Mitchell J. Tomasella Jr., 69, of West Chester, Pa., and formerly of Hammonton, N.J. passed away on March 9, 2023. Mitch was born in Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High School, Class of 1972 and also from Stockton University. He worked for over 25 years as a research scientist at Whitehall Labs in Hammonton, and retired from Glaxo Smith Kline.
Mitch was a die-hard Eagles and Phillies fan and loved his dog and best friend “Penny”.
He was predeceased by his father, Mitchell Joseph Tomasella Sr.; and is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Bentz); his daughter, Stephanie (AJ); his mother, Gladys Tomasella; brother, Gary Tomasella (Terri); and sister, Gail Horn (Gus). He will be missed by his many beloved cousins.
Family and friends were invited to attend his viewing Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 9 a.m. -11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Anthony Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, N.J. 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
