Nicholas C. Masi Jr., "Micky Finn"

Nicholas C. Masi Jr., "Micky Finn", 82, of Hammonton passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township.


He was born and raised in Hammonton. He was a 1959 graduate of St. Joseph's High School. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was known for being a great mechanic, having worked for Ranere Chevrolet, Arena Buick and Kmart Auto Service. Most recently he worked for NAPA Auto Parts. As a young man he enjoyed the family traditions of cooking and wine making alongside his Uncle Sam Angello and Jim Raso. Nick was an avid deer hunter, a member of the 3H Deer Club and Atlantic County Farm Bureau. He loved gardening and shared the bounty of produce with family and neighbors. If he wasn't taking care of his garden or yard, you could find him at the neighbors, Melora Farms.


He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Judith A. (Spangler) Masi; his parents, Nicholas C. and Mary (Angello) Masi; and his sister, Rosemarie Marro. He is survived by three sons, Nicholas A. Masi, Steven Masi (Karen), and James Masi (Sharon); two grandchildren, Danielle N. Masi and Destiny Rose; one brother, Anthony Masi (Patricia); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


A visitation was held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services were held at 6 p.m.
