Obituary

Michael B. Blough

Michael B. Blough, 44, of Winslow, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2023. Born in Camden, Michael was raised in Hammonton where he attended Hammonton Schools. He worked locally as a concrete finisher and also created beautiful hardscapes. Michael enjoyed hunting and riding in the woods. He was a self-taught “fixer” of just about anything, and he could clean like an old Italian grandmom. He was a talented chef who liked concocting imaginative meals off the top of his head. Michael was an OG Hulkamaniac whose love of physical fitness began at a tender age with a headband and a dream of winning the WWF Championship Belt. He wasn’t afraid to be silly and never took himself too seriously. He loved making us laugh and did so often with his wonderfully awful sense of humor. His commitment to comedy and jump scares was absolute—despite the risk of physical injury. He was incredibly smart but didn’t know it, and he could have been anything if he could have dressed himself. Sadly, he was color blind and refused to believe his sisters’ fashion advice. Michael was an animal lover. He was a rescuer of strays, both animal and human. He enjoyed being with his family. He was never too tired to binge watch a show with his sister. He deeply loved his family and was deeply loved in return. He was taken from us entirely too soon and will be desperately missed.

Michael was predeceased by his mother, ToniAnn Blough (nee Capaccio). He is survived by his father, Frank “Skip” Blough (Jayne); his daughter, Angelina; his partner, Mignalys Vidal; and their children, Michael Jr. and Tatiana. He is also survived by his sisters, Christina Gardner and Stephanie McLeod (Ryan); nephews, Samuel and Ryan Jr.; and niece, Lillian.

Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements entrusted to Carnesale Funeral Home.
