Andrew J. Laubert, Sr.

In loving memory of Andrew J. Laubert, Sr. born September 19, 1930, in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey to Rose Beck Laubert and Joseph Laubert. After many years of heart issues, Andy passed away peacefully at home, with his loving and devoted wife Barbara and son Douglas by his side, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024.


Andy and Barbara were married for 72 years and had nine children together. Their four sons are Andrew, Jr. (Bernadette), William (Barbara), Douglas, and Gregory (Gay); their five daughters are Ruth Ann Donaldson, Grace Michel Perona, Rosemary Puleo Farnsworth (Gary), Loretta “Lori” Glinski (Richard), and Beverly Fineran (John). Andy is also survived by his 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.


Andy was a Navy veteran, a yachts craftsman for 13 years, and a master cabinet maker. He built many incredible woodworks including five houses and remodeled two additional homes in his spare time. Andy was known for his humor and loved to tell jokes to his family and friends. He was a three-star athlete playing football, basketball, and baseball in high school.


He was a huge sports fan, and he loved sharing his sports stories from his teenage years.

Andy was a devoted husband and father. He was loved by many and will be sincerely missed.


A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, at Lord and Stephens, East Chapel at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
