Obituary - Charles A. Zingrone

Charles A. Zingrone

Charles A. Zingrone, Sr., 70, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday, December 8, 2023 in Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Atlantic City he was a lifelong South Jersey resident. Charlie was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Hammonton. He was the supervisor of the water and sewer plants at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital and the ACMUA in Atlantic City. He was a member of the South Jersey American Poolplayers Association. He also enjoyed bowling and formerly bowled in local bowling leagues. Charlie was a lifelong Eagles, Phillies, Sixers and Flyers fan. During retirement, he took great pride in how his lawn and yard looked. His greatest joy of all was spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved whole heartedly.

He was predeceased by his mother, Madelyn Brown; his step-father, John Brown; his father, John F. Zingrone, Sr.; his brother, John Zingrone, Jr.; and his aunts and their spouses, Marie and Bill Martino and Angela and John Stra. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Marisol Zingrone (nee Reyes); his two sons, Charles Zingrone, Jr. and his wife Angie, and Michael Zingrone; his grandchildren, Christopher, Luca and Nico; his brother, Joseph Zingrone and his wife Denise; his step-mother, Gloria Zingrone; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his APA friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 15, 2023, 11 a.m. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton, N.J. where a visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
