Jonathon L. “Jon” Elston, 41, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away Sunday March 10, 2024. Jon was born in San Diego, Ca. and moved to New Jersey at a young age. He graduated from Paulsboro High School in 2001 and worked for Lawrow Electric and Plumbing for over 15 years and as an Electrician for DEC Electrical for the last five years. He enjoyed building BMX Bicycles and was a passionate Detroit Lions fan that also enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is predeceased by his father, Michael T. Elston. Surviving are his wife, Nicole Elston (nee Curreri); his daughter, Regina Lynn; mother, Roseann Smith; mother in law, Geraldine Singletary; brothers, Steven Karge, Zachary Smith and Josuha Elston; and sister, Jessica Elston.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend his visitation Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph Church. Burial followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 248 S 1st. Rd.
