Obituary - Jospeh M. Pavesi

Joseph M. Pavesi, 69, of Hammonton, NJ passed peacefully on August 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident.

Joe previously worked as a floor person at Bally’s Park Place for over 20 years. He was also a beloved member of the Sons of Italy for 47 years where he made many great memories with his friends. Joe loved fishing and boating with his family, traveling with the love of his life Sheryl, and playing cards with his buddies. He also took great pride in carrying on the family tradition of growing his own grapes to make homemade wine which was always a family affair. Joe was truly devoted to his family and his grandchildren were the light of his life. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Joe knew the emphasis he placed on hard work and how much family meant to him. On any given day, you could find him cruising town with Sheryl, working in the yard, playing with his grandkids, or stopping by the club. To know him was to love him.

He is predeceased by his mother, Anne C. Pavesi (nee Domenico); and his Father, Michael C. “Pop”Pavesi. Puba, as everyone who knew him endearingly called him, is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl (Martin); children Michael, Michele (Michael) Loffredo, Joseph (Megan); his grandchildren JP, Luciano, Gianna; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
