Leon J. Mazzeo

Leon J. Mazzeo, 88, of Egg Harbor Twp. NJ and formerly of Hammonton passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024. Leon graduated from Philadelphia Business College in 1954, he entered the Religious Missionary of Oblates of Mary Immaculate from 1961 – 1980. He went on to work as an Accountant for Tropicana Hotel and Casino from 1991 – 2003.

Leon is predeceased by his parents, John and Jeanette Capaccio Mazzeo; sisters, Irene Hopkinson (John) and Esther Rodriguez (Mariano); brother, John Mazzeo (Eleanor); and niece, Leanor Mazzeo-Amoriello. He is survived by many nieces and nephews along with his close friends Alexander and Krasimira Zhechev and family.

Family and friends were invited to attend his Church Viewing on Friday May 3, 2024 beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. all at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Anthony Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, N.J. Burial will be private at a later date.
