Joseph J. Giralo Atlantic County Clerk

This month I want to talk about voting and how important it is to vote. We now reside in a society where it is easy to vote. I will continue say this; there is no reason not to vote. It’s your right to vote.

As we quickly approach Election Day know that one can vote with the remaining days of early voting. There are seven early voting locations located around Atlantic County. You do not have to reside in one of those locations but anywhere in Atlantic County.

In these locations one will find the newest of voting machines. Once in the polling location and you give your name, the ballot for you town will appear. So this simply means that if you reside in Hammonton but work in Northfield you can vote in that location and your vote will register for your home town. These locations are safe, secure and easy to use. These locations are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Early voting locations will be in operation from October 29 until November 6. There are no in person voting locations on Monday November 7.

The early voting locations are as follows: Hammonton, Buena Vista, Mays Landing, Galloway, Egg Harbor Township, Northfield and Atlantic City.

For exact locations I would ask that you check out my website at www.atlanticcountyclerk.org. Please check under the Elections tab for exact early voting locations. This will enable you to vote early and in person.

The last opportunity to vote will take place on Tuesday, November 8.

This will be at your regular polling location. Please be on the lookout for your sample ballot or check our website for your voting location. The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.. Lastly please take time to vote! As always if you have any questions about voting please feel free to contact our office at (609) 625-4011.
